Do U Chase Ur Dream?!

During my childhood, i had dream of becoming a cricketer (inspired by sachin tendulkar) .. later during my secondary schooling, impressed with hollywood movies, i wanted to become an actor.. when i entered my 9th grade, i was fascinated by space, so i decided to make my career as an astronaut..

Then came the crucial face of my studies. i had entered junior college.. i was subjected to a lot of pressure from my parents to take up some stream which would be risk free in terms of job oppurtunities and would give good pay too. This made me write entrance exam for IIT ( considered as one of the best engineering colleges in india). I did pass the test. but due to my poor rank, i was forced to take chemical engineering in tht college. Four dreaded years has passed since.
I might end up taking some job related to chemicals..

Now i look back and wonder wht happened to all the dreams i had during chidhood. Burnt to ashes..? why?

Well.. Money is the main cause for all this. People are forced to give up their dream to earn money. This happens predominantly in India.. where job oppurtunities are very scarce. Each an every individual takes up engineering or medicine, since these are the only two major source of earning money. So most of them end up working in a company, wher he/she has no interest.
Can we fix this?

Yes, its possible. Countries like US have set up trade schools, where every one can choose their field in which he/she is interested in. The trade school focuses only on that particular field, making him/her an expert in tht field. the duration of the course is only 2 yrs. Thus they finally get to enjoy their work.
but can this be implemented in india?
(to b continued)
